Starbaskbucksball Kicks Off Tonight!

First blog report, folks, and it's a good'n. A couple weeks ago, the college ministry had a day of vision for the future of our ministry. One of the more promising ideas to emerge was that of a coffeehouse. It launches tonight from 9 to 11:30 in the ROC Cafe. Be there, or be not there. But better than being not there would probably be being there.

As thoughts continue to bounce around and naming rights are currently in the auctioning phase, it is tentatively to be known as "Starbasketbucksball," playing off how it is overlapping open gym time. So...coffee...and basketball. Weird mix, but what the hey.

This will be a weekly event and the future is what we (you) make of it. The hope is for an open mic/special guest performers and readers type of deal that will bring in new people, ideas, and excitement. If you're looking for a chillaxed atmosphere with free coffee, hot chocolate, lemonade, music, poetry, games and all the fixins this is your place.
